The thing that makes the rounds with regards to the “I look like my dog” thing is that it’s part of some sort of official contest. (I presume in the original link, the “winners of the ‘I look like my dog’ contest” phrasing was meant to be facetious.) Actually, it was an ad campaign – these were ads done by ALMAP/BBDO Sao Paulo that won some Gold awards at the 2000 Cannes Lions. 2000 Cannes Lions gold winners
