Answers UK launch >Tom Coates famously wrote last July, what many of us in the UK were thinking and discussing. ‚ÄúWhere are all of the UK start-ups?‚Äù it’s not just the peculiarly paranoid “VC” market, it’s also very very much driven by English (sub)cultures. e.g., Holographic 3D Desktop Monitors based on LCD panels and costing US$20-50 more than an equivalent LCD monitor: rather than turn it into commercial reality, they chose to rip me off and then self-destruct.
